How to reach Prishtina

For Kosovo no entry-visa is required.



There are several possibilities to travel to Prishtine

By Air:



Several Airlines e.g. Austrian, Adria Airways, Malev, British, Turkish, Swiss,… have flights to Pristina. For detailed information, please visit: http://www.airportpristina.com/en

Arrival from Airport to Prishtine city

Prishtina International Airport (PIA J.S.C) is located 18 km south west of Prishtine and 3 km south of Slatina and not father than 80 km from other cities. The time of the journey is approximately 20 minutes to Prishtina.


By Car:



You can drive to Pristina either via Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece or Albania. The roads are in reasonable good conditions, but calculate some time on the borders. 

You can enter into Kosovo from:

  • Albania through Prizren.
  • Macedonia through Kaqanik
  • Montenegro through Rozhaja (Peje)
  • Serbia through Mitrovice, Podujeve and Presheve;

By Bus:



There are several bus-companies operating from some cities in Europe to Prishtina. There is a regular lines for the bus (on daily basis) from all capitals of neighboring countries such as Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia to Prishtine. As well as from Istanbul to Prishtine and vice-versa.

There are also direct bus links from most cities in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and Bosnia.
